Royal Ascot Restaurants

Fine Dining at Roayl ascot racecourse

I am not really sure you will find anywhere in the Royal Ascot restaurants were you will see the mixture of pickled onions and champagne like the main image here but of course many people who are visiting Royal Ascot make a day of things and take their own picnic hampers…….however if you are looking for the non DIY approach then here is a run down of the course’s dining facilities

Royal Enclosure Dining Options

Royal Enclosure members are offered a selection of dining options. Some of these restaurants may be reserved for a sitting of luncheon whilst others offer you the flexibility to turn up and be served on a first come, first served basis throughout the day.

Due to high demand the restaurants listed below do not always have spaces available if not booked well in advance. If you would prefer a base for the day then it is best to go for a full day Royal Ascot Hospitality Package. Thee packages run between GBP 500 – GBP 1500 dependent upon which area of the course you go to……..or you can go with the pickled onion option!!

Windsor Forest Restaurant

The Windsor Forest is a beautifully intimate dining room with a private bar area accommodating 60 to 70 guests. From the private balcony, situated just past the Winning Post, Windsor Forest guests have a unique opportunity to soak up both the splendour of the Royal Procession and the thrill and excitement of the world’s greatest race meeting.

GBP 734 – GBP 1527 Royal Ascot Corporate Hospitality Package

The Waterside Inn

We are delighted to welcome the culinary legends Michel and Alain Roux to Royal Ascot this year. The father and son team will take over the Panoramic Restaurant, bringing a taste of the Michelin starred Waterside Inn, to the most ardent restaurant connoisseur.

Situated at the very top of the Grandstand, the Panoramic Restaurant commands beautiful far-reaching views overlooking the Racecourse and Windsor Great Park beyond. The Roux’s will create a gastronomic treat that will equal the world class racing on display on the track beneath.

GBP 734 – GBP 1410 Royal Ascot Corporate Hospitality Package

Boujis Trackside Restaurant

London’s award winning exclusive nightspot Boujis will recreate their boutique lounge and club in a luxury marquee during the five days of the Royal Meeting.

The specially commissioned ‘Boujis Trackside’ will feature a private balcony of over 40 meters providing fantastic head-on views of the racing action. Inside guests can enjoy a fine dining experience as well as a uniquely designed bar, delivering the finest cocktails and champagne throughout the day.

The ‘Boujis Trackside’ marquee offers a variety of packages all week, including full hospitality with a superb five course luncheon complemented with carefully selected fine wine; an opulent day lounge package including admission to the Racecourse and use of the lounge and bar area throughout the day; and on Friday 18th June and Saturday 19th June after racing party tickets.

GBP 635 – GBP 999 Royal Ascot Corporate Hospitality Package

Three other glorious restaurants adjacent to the Royal Enclosure are The Carriages, Sandringham and Bessborough restaurants with their own inimitable style.

The Bessborough is renowned for holding The Royal Ascot Fashion Show and therefore is much favoured by the lady racegoers so they can enjoy the whole day including the fashions.

As i mentioned you can choose one of the glorious restaurants to enjoy your day in or you can also pack your own chilled champagne and lunch which is what a lot of people do.

Tickets for Royal Ascot are still on sale

The Ascot racecourse authorities have made every effort in the car parks to provide extra facilities for racegoers who wish to pitch their own mini marquee and do a self service type day with friends and family.

You will see lots of well dressed groups in their top hats and top togs enjoying the whole Ascot experience.

Whatever you choose have a wonderful day.

All the best
